Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and maintain heavy ripper attachments on excavators for efficient ground breaking and material loosening
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize operational uptime
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and MSHA safety protocols in all operational activities
- Collaborate with geology teams to optimize ripper depth and angle for material-specific conditions
- Document operational metrics and report equipment performance issues to maintenance teams
- Train junior operators on safe equipment handling and operational best practices
- Participate in site planning meetings to integrate ripper operations into broader mining schedules
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating ripper attachments on excavators in mining/construction environments
- Valid Class A CDL and MSHA Part 46 certification required
- Proficiency in operating Komatsu/P&H brand excavators with ripper attachments
- Demonstrated knowledge of soil mechanics and material behavior during ripping operations
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and site plans
- Strong problem-solving skills for on-equipment troubleshooting
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime in remote locations
